Bakson, the first corporate of Indian origin, has successfully met the need of professional education, health care and unmatched product quality which has made it a trusted brand in the field of Homoeopathy. In India, during the early 1980's pharmaceutical concerns manufacturing quality Homoeopathic medicines were very few. As manufacturing Homoeopathic medicines is a cumbersome process and efficacy of Homoeopathic medicines depends upon the way they are manufactured, Dr. S.P.S. Bakshi planned to establish a pharmaceutical concern to manufacture standard homoeopathic medicines.

Dr. Bakshi laid the foundation of Bakson Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. in 1983 at New Delhi. Bakson initially launched its Hair and Skin care products that have become well known by their brand name “Sunny”. Three years later, Bakson plunged into the production of a range of quality homoeopathic medicines both generic and combination Specialty products.

Today, Bakson is a leading manufacturer of homoeopathic medicines in India with its Corporate Office in New Delhi. To meet the standards of International quality, Bakson's three production units were established on modern lines two in Himachal Pradesh and one at Roorkee (Uttarakhand) following the latest technology with sophisticated machinery and stringent quality control at each stage.
