    Action of Medicine:

    A noted febrifuge. Acute and chronic malarial fevers. Chronic fevers. Liver troubles after fever has stopped. Debility after fevers. Long-lasting malarial fever, turns into Kala-azar associated with enlarged spleen and liver. The fever may come on at any time of the day and night; in chronic cases the fever appears usually in the afternoon. In the morning attacks, cold stage lasts for a long time, there is no appreciable thirst in this stage and if there be any, it is generally relieved by hot drinks.
    Before the appearance of hot stage, nausea and bilious vomiting trouble the patient. The hot stage lasts for 3 to 4 hours and there is slight thirst. Severe burning sensation in the eyes, continues as long as the fever is present.
    Indigestion, atonic dyspepsia. Flatulence. Loss of appetite. Troubles arising out of worms. Catarrhs and some skin diseases.
