HYDRASTIS CANADENSIS 30

Action of Medicine:

• Acts especially on mucous membranes relaxing them and producing a thick, yellowish and ropy secretion.
• Hydrastis is especially active in old, easily-tired people, cachectic individuals with great debility.
• Bronchitis in old, exhausted persons with thick, yellow and  tenacious expectoration.
• Sinusitis. Thick, tenacious secretion from posterior nares to throat.
• Its action on the liver is marked.
• Goitre of puberty and pregnancy.
• Dull, heavy, dragging pain and stiffness particularly across lumbar region. The patient must use his arms in rasing himself from seat.
• General tendency to profuse perspiration and unhealthy skin.
