Bakson's HOMOEOPATHIC FORMULA 'P' TABLET is a remedy for facilitating the normal functioning of the prostate gland. The prostate is a gland surrounding the neck of the bladder and urethra in males; it contributes a secretion to the semen.

The prostate gland is prone to various ailments, which include Prostatitis, Benign hypertrophy of the prostate & Prostatodynia. Prostatitis refers to various inflammatory conditions affecting the prostate gland. Patients can be classified as having acute or chronic bacterial prostatitis, non-bacterial prostatitis, prostatodynia or allergic prostatitis. Patients with suspected Prostatitis usually have low back pain, perianal or testicular discomfort, mild dysuria, fever and lower urinary obstructive symptoms.

The signs and symptoms of the ailment are diminution in calibre & force of the urinary stream, hesitancy in initiating voiding, post voiding dribbling and the sensation of incomplete emptying and occasional urinary retention.

The action of each ingredient is as follows :

Chimaphila umbellata: Relieves acute prostatitis, reduces prostatic enlargement that creates a sensation of a ball in the perineum; reduces the urge to frequently urinate and scanty urine.

Clematis erecta: Indicated for frequent, scanty urine, interrupted flow and dribbling in older men.

Conium maculatum: For urinary troubles like difficulty in voiding, interrupted discharge and dribbling in old men.

Ferrum picricum: Used to treat senile hypertrophy of the prostate; retention of urine; frequent micturition at night with full feeling; pressure in rectum and smarting at neck of bladder & penis.

Pareira brava: Suitable for prostatic affections; constant urge; pain down thighs during efforts to urinate, dribbling after micturition, violent pain in glans penis.

Populus tremuloides: Suitable for enlarged prostate, severe tenesmus and painful burning in urinary organs.

Pulsatilla nigricans: Relieves acute prostatitis when urine is passed in drops with pain & the flow of urine is interrupted.

Sabal serrulata: Suitable for prostatic enlargement, discharge of prostatic fluid and constant urge to pass urine at night.
